The Welfare & Pastoral Care Team

We, at FRAM, are proud to be able to present our Welfare & Pastoral Care Team as people who are dedicated to improving the conditions in which FRAM School runs daily.  Our Welfare & Pastoral Care Team brings together the specialists who ensure that every child at FRAM feels safe, supported, understood and valued. Each member of our team contributes a unique expertise — from safeguarding and behaviour guidance to emotional wellbeing, counselling and health & safety.

Marieluise Knobloch, Head of FRAM Welfare & Pastoral Care and Designated Safety Lead

“I strongly believe that providing children with a safe, nurturing environment, along with safeguarding and protecting their rights, is fundamental to their healthy development and ability to thrive.

My international training, received through the European Commission bodies and United Nations agencies I’ve worked alongside, attests to my deep commitment to supporting children’s protection, safety and wellbeing.

As the designated safety lead at FRAM School, my attention is on ensuring the safety and emotional support of all children, viewing their security as the essential foundation for their academic and social success.

I am passionately dedicated to creating a secure environment where every child’s rights are respected and their emotional needs are prioritized independent on their country or culture of origin.

Leading the Welfare and Pastoral Care pillar, I work handin-hand with a team of experienced international professionals. Together, we are committed to building a community where children feel safe, valued, and able to reach their full potential.

I also believe that transparent, open communication with parents is key. I invite you to stay involved and contact us whenever needed, because trust and a sense of security are the backbone of a positive environment where children can truly flourish.”

“My role is to support the entire school community, students, parents, and teachers, to feel seen, heard, and truly valued. With a background in psychology, integrative psychotherapy, and personal development, my experience working with people has shown me that everyone needs a safe space to express themselves honestly and authentically. I believe that creating such spaces isessential for fostering genuine connection and understanding.

I strongly believe that wellbeing is not just the absence of challenges, but the presence of balance, confidence, and healthy relationships. Every day, I strive to be a supportive presence for children as they explore and understand their emotions, for parents navigating the ups and downs of raising children, and for teachers dedicated to creating a kind, motivating, and inclusive environment. My goal is to help nurture resilience, self-awareness, and compassion within everyone, knowing that these qualities are the foundation for personal growth and positive relationships.

Together, we can cultivate a space where learning is more than just acquiring knowledge, it becomes a journey of inner growth, self-discovery, and joy.

By fostering emotional safety and mutual respect, we encourage each individual to thrive both academically and personally, transforming our school into a community where positive change, curiosity, and joy of discovery flourish every day.”

Tiberiu Moldovan, FRAM Psychologist & Health & Safety Officer

“As the Health and Safety Officer and House Coordinator at our school, I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and organized environment that supports the well-being and development of every student. With years of experience, I prioritize the safety of all children and staff while fostering a
positive, nurturing atmosphere.
My approach is proactive and attentive, ensuring safety protocols are followed and the school remains secure. I believe a well-organized environment helps students feel comfortable, engaged, and ready to learn. I also promote an inclusive community where children feel valued, respected, and understood.
Supporting students’ emotional health and social development is a passion of mine. I work closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to meet each child’s needs with compassion. My goal is to create an environment where children feel safe to express themselves, explore, and build relationships.
Through clear communication and a warm manner, I build trust with students and families. I aim to support their growth into confident, responsible, and caring individuals, making our school a safe, nurturing place for all to learn and thrive.”

“My educational background is in Psychology, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I specialize in Attachment Theory and Positive Psychology, with a strong emphasis on child development and the importance fostering healthy, nurturing relationships.

This professional foundation has given me a deep understanding of how emotional and relational wellbeing are essential for personal growth and resilience. I believe that kindness starts with oneself, only when we cultivate self-compassion and self-awareness can we truly extend genuine care and empathy to others.

This belief guides my approach to pastoral care: creating a safe, supportive space where students, staff, and families feel seen, heard, and valued.

I believe that strong, trusting relationships are the foundation of a compassionate, thriving school community. I’m excited to join FRAM as an opportunity to walk alongside students and staff on their journey of growth.

My goal is to provide support, resources, and guidance to help everyone access their inner strength and resilience. Together, we can foster an environment rooted in kindness and understanding, where everyone feels empowered to flourish personally and academically.”
