At FRAM School, we see behaviour and relationships as an essential part of learning, not something separate from it. Through clear expectations, warm guidance and a strong culture of inclusion, we help children understand how their actions affect others and how to make positive choices. Our approach to behaviour, relationships and anti-bullying is proactive, respectful and always centred on each child’s wellbeing.
Behaviour
Behaviour expectations are clearly taught and consistently applied so that students learn to act with respect, responsibility and self-control in a calm, orderly environment.
Staff use positive reinforcement, modelling and structured routines to guide behaviour, helping children understand the impact of their choices and develop internal discipline.
When behaviour falls below expectations, responses are proportionate, fair and restorative, aiming to repair relationships and support long-term change in line with our Behaviour Policy.

Building Positive Relationships
We intentionally build trusting relationships between students and adults so that every child feels known, listened to and safe to share worries or concerns.
Inclusion is central: every child is welcomed, respected and encouraged to celebrate differences.
Social and emotional skills such as empathy, active listening and cooperation are taught through daily interactions, circle times and class routines, supporting healthy, sustainable friendships.
Preventing & Responding to Bullying
Bullying is never tolerated, and we work proactively through supervision, emotional education and awareness to prevent it.
Any concern or allegation of bullying is taken seriously and investigated promptly and sensitively by trained staff, following our Anti-Bullying and Safeguarding procedures.
Support is provided both for the child who has experienced bullying and for the child whose behaviour has caused harm, with a focus on safety, accountability and reintegration into the school community.
